POSITION DESCRIPTION:

Under limited supervision, and on own initiative, provides marketing, communications and administrative support to all brokerage associates. 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Types and assists in compiling correspondence, reports, proposals, marketing budgets, spreadsheets, demographic reports, etc. 

  • Provides primary support for brokerage associates to include preparation and graphic design of proposals, broker opinion values, operating memorandums, display boards, presentations, brochures, tour books, letters, demographic reports, mailing list, etc. 

  • Maintains electronic files pertinent to brokerage associates and is familiar with all company resources to include databases, internet sites and reference materials. 

  • Maintain web-based listing services to include Loopnet, Costar, Catalyst, LocateSC and Bridge Website. 

  • Use knowledge of current graphic design software (InDesign and Photoshop) to produce graphic art and visual materials for maps, property tours, packaging, proposals, brochures and informative materials on an as needed basis. May include using demographic and traffic count reports and use of software (Pictometry) to retrieve aerials. 

  • Communicate with clients on the organization of signage requirements, broker luncheons and marketing materials. 

  • Manage the installation and removal of all property signage including maintaining a log on the status of all signs in the market and reconciling vendor invoices. 

  • Assist in compiling databases for mail outs and e-blasts.

  • Draft and send property specific e-blasts to approved databases using Campaign Monitor. Organize and manage eblast subscriber lists. 

  • Manage Bridge social media platforms to include LinkedIn, Instagram, Twitter and Facebook. 

  • Design and optimization of Bridge website. 

  • Compiles press releases for the Company on matters related to transactions, promotions, Company announcements, etc. 

  • Assist in the coordination of company events, broker luncheons, conferences and trade shows. 

  • Answers calls, relays messages, maintains calendars, assists with scheduling appointments and travel arrangements as requested. 

QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Visual Communications or other related field or four (4) years of equivalent work experience or an Associates Degree and two (2) years of equivalent work experience 

Knowledge:
Superior knowledge of Microsoft Office software including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook, Adobe, InDesign and Photoshop

North Signal Capital and Westport Capital Partners Announce 143,000 SF Lease to Expeditors within North Pointe Commerce Park

CHARLESTON, S.C., Sept. 13, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- Today, West-Signal, a joint venture owned by an affiliate of North Signal Capital LLC and a fund managed by Westport Capital Partners LLC (the "Joint Venture"), is pleased to announce the execution of a 143,000 SF lease with Expeditors International of Washington, Inc. (NASDAQ: EXPD). Expeditors is a leading global logistics company.

Expeditors is leasing 58% of the 247,000 SF rentable area at 1017 Northpointe Industrial Boulevard. The Class A facility is designed to the highest institutional standards including: tilt-up concrete construction, 32 foot clear height, ESFR sprinkler systems and LED lighting. Expeditors will be combining their office and warehouse locations into the space. Accordingly, North Signal will be building out 22,000 SF of office space, which includes a driver's lounge to go along with the 121,000 SF of warehouse space. Completion of the buildout is expected by early December 2019. Expeditors has also entered a license agreement for 130,000 SF of the building which allow them to begin occupancy October 1st while their upfit work is completed.

104,000 SF space remain available in 1017 Northpointe Industrial Boulevard. In addition, the venture controls the last fully entitled industrial site within 10 miles from the Port of Charleston. This site has the capacity for ~125,000 SF of industrial space and is being actively marketed as a built to suit. The remaining space within North Pointe Commerce Park offer flexibility in size and configuration, a major selling point given the sub-market's current low vacancy rate and high demand.

CHARLESTON, SC – Hagood Morrison, MBA, SIOR, Hagood S. Morrison, John Beam and Brooks Courtney of Bridge Commercial represented the seller, Buerger Development Corporation, of 87,900 square feet of industrial space at 105 Eastport Lane in Summerville, South Carolina. The building is fully leased to Lauscha Fiber International (“Lauscha”), a subsidiary of Unifrax Corporation. The seller, Buerger Development Corporation, originally built the building for Lauscha in 1997 and expanded it in 2011.

The purchaser, STAG Industrial, Inc (“STAG”), acquired the property for investment purposes. The building is STAG’s second acquisition in the Charleston market.
