BROOKS COURTNEY ACHIEVES SIOR DESIGNATION FROM THE SOCIETY OF INDUSTRIAL AND OFFICE REALTORS®
CHARLESTON, SC – Brooks Courtney, SIOR of Bridge Commercial has achieved the SIOR designation awarded by the Society of Industrial and Office REALTORS®. SIOR is a Washington, DC-based international professional organization of more than 3,200 commercial real estate professionals who have earned the coveted SIOR designation.
To achieve the SIOR designation, Brooks completed a minimum of five years of creditable experience in the highly specialized field of industrial real estate; met market transaction volume and value requirements and stringent education requirements; and demonstrated professional ability, competency, ethical conduct, and personal integrity.
Individuals who hold the SIOR designation are top producers in the commercial real estate field. They are represented in more than 685 cities in 36 countries around the world. SIOR enforces a strict code of ethics and required designees to complete its ethics course within their first three years of membership.
Brooks is an Associate Vice President for Bridge Commercial focused on outdoor storage, industrial logistics and cold storage opportunities. Brooks’ experience encompasses the full lifecycle of industrial and logistics developments from site selection, leasing, and disposition. In addition to his real estate work, Brooks is a member of the Board of Advisors for the Medical University of South Carolina Storm Eye Institute. In 2021 Brooks was named to Charleston Regional Business Journals’ 35 Best and Brightest. Previously Brooks was a member of the Charleston Regional Chamber of Commerce’s Young Professionals Steering Committee. Brooks’s free time is spent with his fiancée Emory. Brooks is also an avid sporting clay shooter and golfer.
